My story

From payment clerk to business builder

I did not start at the top. I learned the work from the ground up, and that is the lens I bring to every business I look at.

Started on the operations floor

I joined a bank as a payment clerk in 2007 and, within a few years, was running the payments department. I learned how work really gets done, and where it breaks.

Moved into risk, controls and governance

I designed risk and control frameworks, and the governance that keeps them working, first inside large banks and then for other financial institutions as a consultant.

Now applying it to small businesses

With StepX, I take that discipline to owner-run businesses in the UAE: understand what is really happening, agree a clear plan, and put it into action.
